Well I sort of have a love-hate relationship with my credit card...I love it because when I`m out of cash I can grab that plastic little life saver out of my wallet and it makes everything ok,I can buy that luxury item that I know I really can`t afford, and I feel fantastic, but then theres the credit card statement that comes in once a month and ll my nightmares come to me at once, I then have to struggle for that week because I havent added that special little plastic card to my monthly budget and I have to come up with my payment....All in all without it I wouldnt survive, with it, its not good for my health due to stress and worry.BUT i`ve decided to take the stress...and enjoy life to the fullest because its too bloody short...Cheers
To love it or hate it Deciding makes it hard on one hand i end up in debt just because of a simple card on the other I never miss outon sales, concerts or nights out I never get stuck anywhere always get home without a doubt I love the thrill of purchasing even if it's something small I never go beyond my limit at my local mall I enjoy my lifestyle and the way I can buy things online I can shop in my pyjamas on home delivered foods can I dine Although credit can be bad for some who overspend Using your card wisely can easily become your best friend!
Love and Hate go hand in hand with Mr Visa of four grand. One minute I'm in heavenly bliss when he swipes me a Jimmy Choo kiss But when it comes that time of month. Ooh I get into such a grump, When that statement declares he "You have incurred an overdraft fee" But you know that never lasts before I find myself back in his grasp he buys my love through diamonds and prada and does my bidding like no other I guess that all I'm trying to say is that there really is no way I could make my life as fantastic without this little friend of plastic
BP Citibank Card:55 days interest free and 5% cashback for all BP purchases - fuel discounts without the hassle of vouchers with expiry dates. There is also 0.5% on all other purchases. Both cashbacks are paid monthly with no minimum cashout balance. Easy and fast rewards.
I love my credit card because it makes it easier for my to buy the things I want. I love that I can buy things online, from overseas and it is so simple to pay...this can also be a problem because I spend spend spend, haha. But all in all i love it.
I hate it mostly because of Steve Madden! So many shoes, such a low limit.
I love my credit when i need to buy something and i have enough credit and i hate it when they charge a late fee.
I have a love hate relationship with my credit card. I love the opportunities it provides me- like being able to buy those shoes, or purchase something instantly online. I hate the statement at the end of the month where I actually have to pay for it though!! Last year I got myself into a situation where the card was controlling me rather than me controlling the card. I owed $7000 on the card! So I decided to change that situation. I stopped using the card I took it out of my purse. I then set about paying off $250 a week which was no mean feat since I only earned twice that! Within 5 months I had it paid off. It was a fantastic sense of achievement! Then I reduced its limit to the minimum that I could do with my credit provider. When I first paid it off, I wasn't sure what to do with all the extra money I had, so I started saving it. This meant that I was able to actually have some money in the bank when my baby was born in June and I was no longer working. I still use the card, but not often, and I usually transfer the money right away or within a week or so. I am controlling the card rather than it controlling me, and it feels great! Its also fantastic not to have those credit card bills to pay off each month. When I control the card, I love it- when it controls me, I hate it!
I love it because i can spend money whenever i want i hate it because it because it lets me spend money whenever i want. i love it because i have 55 days interest free i love it because it lets me over the limit to buy that special something. i hate it because then it charges me $30 for going over the limit. basically, my credit card is just like another member of the family... gives and takes. you sometimes love it and sometimes you HATE it.
I love it cause it's convenient you can use it anywhere even over the Internet. It's quick and easy to use.
I love my credit card as its handy for immediate purchases anywhere I travel or shop. It also means I can purchase things on the internet and save money by shopping directly. I wouldn't be without it!!!
We'll its a love / hate relationship owning a credit card. Its great to be able to have free infinite money at your fingertips. To be able walk into a shop and buy whatever you want guilt free just by swiping the card. To feel like if work gets to boiling point and the boss is driving you crazy , you can get away on visa paid holiday without using any of your pay. If pop music is getting you down, by owning a credit card it gives you the possibility of ordering some cool music from overseas. If you forget your anniversary and you have blown all your money at the pub , its a great way to get out of a hole. On movies they use credit cards to open any type of door (no matter the security) so thats a plus. When your drunk and you have no concept of money its great to swipe away at endless take away places and just think about your stomach instead. Great for buying stuff off the internetTM. Time for the negatives... It gives hotels a great easy way to charge you more money unexpectedly when checking in , something they call ‘holding deposit and they can take more of your money if you eat from their bar fridge. Hackers love getting their (virtual)hands on peoples credit card info, its a little too easy to get limit increases and its like they want you to spend money (they offer you limit increase every few months). For the paranoid community, using credit cards is a way the big brother to watch your activities (ie. Adult shop spending) hehe. No matter now many times you go NUTZ and use it, you keep forgetting when the statement comes in and when its due. Its another card in your list of cards in your wallet, you probably already have 2 other credit cards and the monthly over limit fees of all 3 credit cards combined makes you sick.
My credit card is like an old friend. But he encourages me to spend. This is a disturbing trend. The interest is sending me round the bend. I'd imagined my credit card would set me free. The reality is bills and increasing debt for me! He's my mate... but now I'm irate. Together we used to laugh... Now I'm tempted to SNAP HIM IN HALF!
love my credit card because when i see something in the shop and i dont have any money in my purse i can buy it straight away. hate it because when the bill comes l8ter!
I absolute hate credit card because they always put me into trouble, 5 times and counting
V-ery often I use my VISA credit, I-nterest-free for 55 days - you said it! S-hopping without my beloved VISA? A-s sure as hell I'd have a seizure! A-mex comes out too, when I buy, M-y limit though is way too high. E-very time I swipe this one, X-tra interest ruins the fun. M-y third baby is MasterCard, A-ttaining one isn't that hard. S-wiping it just feels so right, T-en, sometimes twenty times a night. E-very time I seem not to remember, R-ates of interest will kill me in December! C-redit's my best friend and worst enemy, A-lluring me with it's "Interest-Free", R-eceiving that dreaded bill in the post, D-ecides whether I eat steak or toast!
I love my credit card cause it comes in handy for impulse buys and lifes emergencies or an urgent bill. But I hate my credit card because I must pay interest.
I only had one recently to travel with and I absolutely loathed it, knowing I could spend money whenever I wanted and not feel the repercussions became very tempting and unfortunately got me a few times, NEVER AGAIN until I absolutely have to. Luckily I got rid of it before I got home to shop online with :)
This wonderful particular litte card, purchasing items and goods resiting temptation can be hard,if you are not careful with repayments you will fall into that trap. and bound to take that horrible wrap,it does have it's advantages for not carrying cash on you, people who fell into this trap I am only one of few.with our hardtimes and uncertainty ahead. I for sure do not want to get into red, what ever you prefer love or hate this amazing little card. just be aware before it gets to hard.
I have a love hate relationship with my credit card some days i love it and others i hate it! Especialy when the bill turns up.
I love my credit card, because it gives me rewards for redeemable points at the end of the day. It makes paying bills over the phone alot easy and internet paying for things from ebay to booking a flight. When im short change my card is always around to save the day, i love it alot.
i love my credit card because i can use it everywhere and dont have to take the risk of having cash on me. the bad thing is that there is not enough places to pay for it at... if there was an option of paying for it at a post office that would be great
I love to hate my credit card because it keeps me alive but also puts me in life thretening debt.
Virgin released their credit card a few years ago. While they didnt offer rewards as with other cards what they did offer was no annual fee ever, a very low percentage 5% under most other cards, a great looking card, 30 days interest free on purchases and a super low transfer rate coming from other cards. More importantly however they offered one of the best call centres where the customer service was second to none. It has now been taken over by NAB but I am continuing to get the same deal as previously so it hasnt made a difference.
I hate my credit card atm is because there is far to much interest and has become ever more difficult to pay due to the lack of jobs in such a small town and with the current world economic state have over $3000 in debt :(
I love it because it loves me by buying me new shoes and handbags!
"Why do you love or hate your credit card?". I have a complex relationship because I can get this seasons Alanah Hill dress but unfortunately, the interest build up means I end up paying more!!!
I love my credit card because: It doesnt answer back Gets swiped so often and never complains. It lets me buy things without getting my big butt off the chair It looks so beautiful with its shiny front and slimline body
A credit card is great as it allows you to purchase things online and overseas. But it adds in a negative way to your credit rating by reducing the amount you can loan from banks.
My credit card is my mate, Precious plastic I cannot hate. I love the feel, the look, the smell, We match, we click, we just jell. Its been with me through good times, bad times and the fun times too, Though I did once drop it in the loo. My steady, sturdy trusted friend, Will always be with me til the end!!
i hate my credit card because it's soo easy to use it and buy anything i want without worrying about the actual cost for another 30days!hehe funny that i love it for the same reason..and on top, if you are good with your planning, you dont even have to pay any interest for the credit they gave you the previous month!how good is that!hope i can win! :)
I HATE that I do not have a credit card, but LOVE that I don't have any debt! I've tried many times to apply for one of these plastic cards but it seems noone likes single mothers who are unemployed, even though I'm responsible with money. I admire they're beauty, I watch in awe and jealously when someone pulls out a beautiful pink card from their purse and manages to buy items with this, what a magically little device!!
I have never owned a credit card. I have never been approved. When I was 18 my phone that was on contract broke and the company refused to fix it so I refused to pay for it. I am now paying it off because Im a lot more mature these days and now know two wrongs dont make a right and I would love to finally get a credit card to pay for a weekend away for both me and my son, or for my parents. As we all live n the one house and my family has done a lot for me. And good night sleep. But I cant afford to pay for things outright sometimes. I'd also love a card for those spare of the moment things you see that would be the perfect thing for someone you love but just do not have the cash on you to get it. :)
i love my credit card because it is always there for me. its always with me. i carry it everywhere but i hate it because it keeps jumping out at me yelling out 'swipe me, swipe me' and thats where it goes down in value. Its always there to help me tho except when it becomes maxed out but thats not an issue as the repayments are made on it. but my poor little credit card is so blue :( (its an anz card) i want to make it happier.
I think that although credit cards are now a necessary way to life now days, they are a very dangerous tool to have. If people don't know how to use them and when to pay them, their debt can spiral out of control. Most people don't understand the payment cycles of a credit card and so hence they are paying interest, their monthly payment amounts and more often than not, overlimit fees as well. Unfortunately these people sometimes never seem to recover and as they are offered credit card after card, they take them thinking they can fix all their problems with the next card. I guess in summary, though we all need credit cards I really do dislike them!
i hate it and love it, its good to have the money there but when they want you to pay it back thats the problem because they charge so much
